OSA leads discernment of Sanggu hopefuls

FIRST THINGS first, said Office of Student Activities Director Pia Acevedo in a discernment talk on January 30: Do they really want to serve the students?

Acevedo gave the talk in preparation for the Sanggunian ng mga Mag-aaral General Elections from February 21 to 22. She explained in her talk what a student government should and should not be.

IBIG Agila seeks changes for coming elections

“We have to be more specific,” vice presidential bet Dustin Balictar (III BS MIS) told Castro. “’Wag puro ideology (It should not be just about ideology).”

Partido Ignacio: Relevance is key to better Sanggu

THE SANGGUNIAN ng mga Mag-aaral this school year, said Partido Ignacio President JC Taruc (III AB IS), “was too detached from the student body and too concerned [with] political issues.” For this year, Taruc said, Partido Ignacio envisions a strong and relevant Sanggunian—one whose presence is “felt by the student body in its daily experiences, and not merely when issues and controversies arise.”
